Our founder, leads by example and has even personally delivered goods to customers for urgent cases. Established in 1982, Allinton began with a simple mission: to make sourcing quality industrial products and engineering tools easier and more accessible for businesses in Singapore. Over the years, the company has grown from a modest distributor into a trusted provider of industrial products, engineering solutions, and digital integration services, serving 16 industries across the region. 

Building on its growth and established reputation for reliability, product quality, and customer-focused service, Allinton remains dedicated to continuous learning, innovation, and adapting to the evolving needs of its clients. Expanding beyond distribution to develop its own brands and offer technical and digital solutions, the company strives to simplify industrial procurement and enhance operational efficiency.

Our Founding Years

It all started when our founder began working at a hardware trading company as a sales assistant after his National Service.

1982

Founded Allinton Engineering & Trading. Supplied mainly to shipyards and factories.

1987

First financial crisis faced. Diversified business portfolio to include construction and manufacturing.

1988

Setting up of first branch office at Pioneer.

1991

Shifted to a 30,000sqf warehouse at Tuas.

2000

Attained distibutorship of major international hardware brands such as Ridgid, Bosch and LPS. Expansion into Vietnam, Shanghai and Kazakhstan.

2012

Formed a partnership consortium with T-Dynamic Systems and Kenetics Innovations for the LTA card reader project.

From 10 workers to 100 employees. From zero inventory to a 30,000 sqf 2-storey warehouse at Tuas. From Singapore to the region.
